We´ve got an exciting opportunity to use the former library space in The Crompton Place, Bolton as a community Creative Hub until the end of 2024. It´s time to open a new conversation about our town. Let’s use our imagination to generate fresh and creative ideas to transform the place uniquely and originally. This can be the starting point of greater change in our town.

Everyone is welcome, all ages and backgrounds.

TIME IS NOW

  • We will hold a community session in the Crompton Place that aims to bring about positive and innovative changes in your town. The event will be hosted by Creatives Now and BASECLAN. Everyone is welcome. Together we imagine the next Bolton:

    • How might we create a town full of play and creativity?

    • How might we initiate exciting plans in this creative hub for Bolton in 2024?

    Let´s imagine!

  • A community conversation through body movement, connection, photography and imagination. Together we will find the ideas for the design of Bolton’s Town of Children mural.

  • From ideas to action: Make group decisions, experiment and explore new ways of transforming objects and space to create our own place for creativity.

    • What does a welcoming, inclusive space for creativity include?

  • During this event we will present the new mural ‘Bolton: Town of Children’ by Victor Seus made in collaboration with Bolton’s young people and community.

    We will engage in community conversations and consultation activities led by young people, welcoming the public and diverse local and national leaders in arts and culture. These discussions will centre around shared experiences and the fresh perspectives and inspiration that have emerged from a month of creative community encounters in Bolton.
